We know the previous owner that did all the work to it.
The plane was damaged by hail in April and sold at insurance auction becausethe cost to repair the damage properly would have exceeded $30K
His response :
Great...is he interested in buying it back. Like I said, I've seen the plane in person....there's no damage. Must be fixed now.
p.s. I repaired a 152 a couple years ago that had real hail damage....reskined all upper surfaces, replaced flight controls, repainted......didn't spend anywhere near 30K.
It's too bad the world has so many of these type.
As Roy had proven there is nothing that can be done about
it either.
