thx Fred. She really is a great plane. I just want to go places she isn't intended to go. I have flown her a lot and have discovered that I need more performance in the stol area. The only problem that looks like a problem on the books has turned out not to be a problem. We thought we were going to have a problem with the engine but that has turned out not to be the case. During annual the mechanic found extra metal in the filter. he has never worked on a 150 before and is used to rotax and smaller engines. We followed the recommendations of continental and the lab. We flew another 10hrs and rechecked but the oil is clean. I would have overhauled the engine if required but the lab and my mechanic recommended against it. I'm going to change the oil again at 25 hrs just to be sure but the lab reports that the sample is normal and that no action be taken. Someone can buy her for a really nice price and fly away with a turnkey airplane. The panel is really nice and the exterior is great. I'll continue to fly until she is sold. Hopefully I'll see her move soon.
