Keep in mind I didn't say YOUR Airmap is junk, but for the very high price they were back then I call mine junk because it was not uncommon to lose the satelite lock, or one idiotic thing or another. Actually mine was an original too...not a 300, as I misstated. My Apollo Flybuddy GPS has lost a lock maybe 3 times in all the years I've had it. The Airmap 500 I've been running for a couple of years has NEVER had a glitch of ANY kind...which is the kind of reliability I expect and appreciate.
