The fuel gauge is a great piece of simple equipment. The media blasted side makes it easy to read. That bigger-than-the-cap top is an ingenious design.

The gascolator is solid. It's simple and easy to drain. The push-up strainer is much simpler than the stock plunger design. When my stock gascolator started to fail I though about buying the McFarlane repair kit. The cost was close to what I payed for a club gascolator. Now when the push-up drain fails it's going to be a $15 fix instead of a $150 fix. That said the gascolator always has a blue stain on the fittings. They seem tight. Maybe it was installed incorrectly? I've noticed other members with the same concern.
