How true - approaching an intersection one day, I saw another car coming from a side road that I sensed wouldn't stop at the stop sign.
My 20-nothing-year-old brain said "YOU have right-of-way - go ahead!" So I did, and that little old lady proceeded to drive through the stop sign and knock me off the motorcycle.
