I saw pictures of the aftermath at Newmont's big open pit in Nevada, when a 400 ton haul truck blew a stop sign and ran over a 5 ton service truck that didn't yield to the larger vehicle. Not pretty. I always gave them a wide berth when in the pit area.

"Right of way" isn't always "right"
