That is how I earned my spending money during the summers in High School was as ground support for a crop sprayer, (I had my driver's license at age 15.) The aircraft I have serviced were the Pawnee, Callair and Thrush Commander where the nearest straight stretch of road to the job served as the base. Now, I have had the pilot sit in my lap when it wasn't practical to move the ground support truck. But, riding in the hopper? People here are very aware of my lack of tolerance for using the word "stupid", but in this case the term would definitely apply!
