My suggestion would be keep an eye on eBay, as well. Someone on this site found a schematic on the web for the 9-pin serial download cable and actually fabricated one (a major feat since the interface connector to the GPS 195 is so clunky). www.garmin.com [garmin.com] still sells some GPS 195 accessories, but they are steeply priced.

I have an old GPS 195 as well, and am still happy with it. I've been meaning to upgrade, but I keep finding other things to spend my money on. IMHO, it would hardly be worth spending a lot of money on accessories for an old GPS 195.

Might as well get a brand new GPS 196, which comes with everything. Sometimes I see GPS 195 on eBay, with everything (receiver, download cable, battery pack, etc.) for a couple of hundred bucks.
