Well, if someone already lived in NJ, they would only need one ticket--to get back home from Texas.

If they didn't, they've need two tickets. One to get to NJ and one to get back to wherever they came from once they got to Texas.

Oh wait, I see your point. Ed's already in Texas.

Well anyway, I think it would be worth paying for that extra ticket if it meant the guy would ferry your plane for free! Heck, I'd consider doing it, but, as I posted above, I have concerns as to whether or not that's kosher for a Private Pilot to do.
