Scott has the interior - mounted nav light and strobe. Mine are the conventional exterior - mounted nav light. There are no issues with the nav lights not being visible from the rear. It is only required that the lights be visible in a 110 degree arc. From where they are mounted and also that they had to pass muster with the Feds for approval, I don't see that as an issue at all. I don't have strobes - yet, but recently had the pulselights installed, and they work like a champ.

The RMD tips cost about $1500 and take a few weeks to get to ya because they are custom made. I can vouch for the integrity of RMD. Bob there is great and will work with you. Again, these lighted tips are fabulous. Expensive, yes compared to conventional tips, but IMHO well worth it. I love 'em.
