Very nice bird. The $3200 for gap seals sounds incredibly high as they're not difficult to install. But as to the owner being in his right mind investing so much...
At least it for now it's still a free country and I saw a beautiful little Cessna at Clinton that probably had that much socked into it. As I recall, it had a Garmin 530 in the panel and I think an auto pilot(?)...among a whole lot of other spendy improvements. Unfortunately the owner (very rudely
) placed the cabin cover on it and prevented me from getting a better look and showing it to Jo Ann.
I applaud those who choose to take something as mundane as a Cessna 150/152 and transform it into such a neat little flying machine, which is obviously a labor of love...not dollars and cents.
