Yep, I know. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. That's why I paid my money and joined the club. I'll do the suggested reading in the hopes that it'll help me sniff out a stupid person who previously worked on the airplane without asking the questions.

In one picture is my 14 year old daughter, looking a bit bemused by the whole thing. She's gone from being annoyed that we had to head to the airport last Wednesday instead of going clothes shopping, to being pretty excited about having an airplane in the family. When I initially offered that she could start working on her ticket next year, she dismissed the idea outright. Last Sunday afternoon as we were driving to her volleyball practice from spending a couple of hours cleaning airplanes, she voiced that she'd gotten excited about the idea of getting a pilot's license. Well, just hearing that goes a long way towards the cost of ownership right there.
