Welcome to the club Pete, hope you find a nice 150/152 to call your own. My 152 has over 13000 hours on engine and airframe, it has been well cared for over the years. I have not had any problems with it. Sometimes low time aircraft are the ones to avoid, they are not flown enough. Having a prebuy inspection by a good A&P is worth the money.
