Thanks, yes, Bob is the mechanic. He just signed off the annul last week. The logs, since Bob's been working on it are well kept and reflect pride of ownership . Other people have given the same reference for Bob.

I have talked to Bob in the past about other planes I had been looking at. In fact I had a ticket and was days from flying to Raliegh for a 150, I went in to ask Bob a few questions about the plane in NC and thats when he told me that the owner of this plane was looking to sell.

In fact, I had the plane in a prebuy in NC and it was the mechanic who was souring the deal. Talk about bad gut feelings, not about the plane, about the mechanic. The owner is a club member, Everything the owner told me turned out to be true,never doublespeak. When I joined the club and went back over his posts, they all confirmed his story. I ended up stopping the prebuy, and was setting up another one when I found the current plane.

The guy in NC was leaning towards keeping his plane at that point also.

tomorrow i'll verify the SMOH inthe logs.
