Welcome. I fly out of Sterling but have my 152 worked on by Bob Booth at Aircraft Services of New England. If he is the mechanic that has been working on the plane, I can assure you that there have been no shortcuts taken unless the owner refused to authorize the work. Bob is very knowledgable and THOROUGH. Still not a bad idea to have another set of eyes look at the plane. If Aircraft Services is not currently maintaing it, I would highly recommend Bob to do a pre-buy for you if you decide to follow up with this plane.
