Hi Jim,
Yes, I've got one picked out (a 1965 M20C) and made an offer on it earlier in the week. They're working on an AD on the prop hub. Still waiting to see where that goes. If it goes through, I'll definitely share some photos, and yes, I do plan to be in Clinton!

Hey Wally,
I can't add anything that Gary hasn't said. I, too, followed your engine failure story and was so relieved at the outcome.
Like you, my aviation requirements changed and I sold my 152 (22 years ago) and I moved on to bigger and faster planes. I always regretted selling that plane and found myself over the years always walking over just to look and touch the 150/152's that were tied down at airports I landed at during my travels.
You're so correct, you can take the pilot out of these planes but you can't take the plane out of the pilot.
I hope the Mooney serves you well. It's one of the most economical planes available not to mention having one of the strongest airframes as well. Hope you'll share some pictures of the plane and stories of your future adventures.
Do you have one picked out already? Hope to see it at Clinton.
Jim
