No one has considered that not all internet communications devices are created equal. Websites are now routinely accessed by cell phones, PDA's, and other devices, most of which do not have full keyboard capability, or some even the capability for lower case letters or punctuation. Even when capability is available, it may be difficult or impossible to use. I myself have experienced partial or intermitent keyboard failure on full sized 101-key PC keyboards causing loss of punctuation, certain letters, caps, numerals, etc. No one asked if there was a technical problem before assuming the worst, and it shouldn't matter anyway. Even posts with perfect grammar and punctuation are often misunderstood, sometimes because of the grammer or punctuation.
If you wouldn't correct a person's verbal statements in person, you shouldn't correct their written statements from behind a keyboard, either, unless asked by that person to do so!
