I received a fax from the FAA that N5818E has been de-certified...gee...I only had to wait 4 months.
From a learning perspective, I would have asked to have a title search done from the perspective of an importation - don't just tell me if the title is clear, tell me if there are any hurdles to decertification.
Oh...more good news...I found a prop thanks to Grants Pass Bill for $1500 instead of $3500...complete will all the paperwork to make it a (hopefully!) simple bolt on for the purposes of the import inspection.
