Hi Guys,

My name is Rachel and I'm with Fast Aviation down in central Florida. I started selling airplane parts on ebay when I was 15 to buy my first vehicle and save money for college. My dad had a bunch of airplane parts laying around and I thought selling his parts would be a great way to do it. Since then we (now married and my husband is my partner in Fast) now have 10 acres on a 4,000' runway and started a website called Hangar Swap.

I'm a pilot, got my license a couple years back after battling the "medical gods" for a bunch of years. I built the 172 I got my license in with my dad. She's a great bird! I understand how ridiculous these parts are directly from Cessna and that's why it's important to get affordable plane parts so we can keep flying!

Our relationship with ebay ended last August and we got so fed up with their fees and having to dig through chinese stuff that we started Hangar Swap. You can buy and sell parts on there for 3% instead of 10% like ebay. The percent pretty much just covers the upkeep of the website. This is for everyone! It's a pain to call all over the place for parts, when you could just go to one place.

Here is our website about Fast Aviation: Fast Aviation [fastaviationflorida.com]

I am going to go look at a 150 next week. They're saying its for parts but maybe it could be a good project for someone? I'll see how far gone it is and let you guys know.

Yeah.... eBay can be a drag. It's become quite the racket.

Nice to see your site - I'm sure I'll be visiting now and then for this and that! smile

I can testify first hand that Rachel is a real pleasure to deal with! Fantastic customer service provided to deliver a set of elevators for my 150. They were exactly as advertised - perhaps even better.

100% recommendation from a happy customer!
