I know...

But with so much to gripe about... I had to pick SOMETHING! crazy

I never expected this much contraversy over an e-mail! It just goes to prove that you can't easily organize large groups of people, no matter how simple the agenda!

Heck, I don't even think we could organize a party of two, after this!

From now on... I'll concentrate on what I have to be thankful for! I like the responses better!

Ghetti, that post brought back memories! Years ago, my aunt and uncle had matching Fiats. I don't remember which model, but they were two seat sports cars. I didn't know that they made 4 wheel drives. Do you know what they get for gas mileage? Honestly, it's been a long time since I saw a Fiat here in the US.

Your English definitely is improving.

CIAO,ERIC! smile
The FIAT we have it is not a sport car. It is a very little family car,the "500". Was not possible to buy it 4-wheels drive.
The little 4 wheeldrive car produced by FIAT is named "panda".
Perhaps Rossella will be able to do an attachement of one picture of ours "500" this evening.
A new "500" will be soon on the market. It is possible to see the new car in internet.
Fiat was producing a little 2 seats sport car named "850" and later, till 2 years ago the "barchetta".80 cu.in. gas engine-120 miles speed.

FIAT built and build for many years 4 wheeldrive cars and trucks.
Yes,I know that FIAT is no more present in USA from many years. FIAT sells in USA :ALFA ROMEO,FERRARI and LANCIA.
Theese brands are all owned by FIAT.
Alfa Romeo"duetto"sport car is in"The graduate" 1967 with Dustin Hoffman.

A new FIAT model 80 cu. in. diesel engine,"drinks" 1 gal and can run for 60 miles. (25km-1lt)

But they are real cars for 4 people and they have a not so little luggage compartment. Smart(Mercedes) are city cars for two people. The luggage compartment is so narrow! The rear door is at few inches from the seats and your head.

VM is also owned by FIAT i think. They build diesel engines for many brand.

The old "500" were commonly heavily modified by young people reaching with the 30-40cu.in. little engine even 120(one hundredtwenty)miles per hour. There were many races on paved roads and snow.

Thanks for my english. For many years I have used only technical words to speak with the control centers.
I must say that they were always patient.Write here it is a good exercize.Thank to you all to stand. blush

I remember the Fiat Spyder back in the 70's. Looked cute but couldn't get out of it's own way....and let's not forget the ugly 850.
