Tilting the backrest can give you more legroom. My seat has a lever on the right hand side at the bottom, it changes the angle. Because of the landing gear passthough, the seat can not be moved back anymore.

Well . . . its either shorten the pilot or stretch the plane!

And we know what happens when you try to stretch the plane, don't we? smile
And its not just that it doesn't fit back into the box, either. grin

Man!

Good thing Gregg's partner didn't complain about "Headroom"!

Hey! I'm not complaining about headroom in a 150. I'm not complaining about any sort of room in a 150. AND I'm taller than that guy by an inch and I probably weigh more.

Ok,

I'm sitting here scratching my head a bit and moving around on the chair a little trying to work this one out - but I'm not sure I can smirk

I don't mean to question you on this (then again perhaps I do grin) but exactly how, will tilting the "Backrest" of your seat give you more leg room????? if your rear end is still in the same position on the seat cussion, I'm not quite sure how the space your legs reside in changes, unless you're now positioning your rear end somewhere half way up the backrest...... somehow...maybe confused confused

Cheers

Well Matt,

This is exactly what I've been advocating! grin

As you sit in your seat, lean back and let your rear slide forward. As your toes get closer to the spinning prop, you are automaticly "trimmed to fit"! No long too tall, just exactly right! grin

'Course, I suppose if someone were way too tall . . . they could remove the port seat and fly from a child's seat in the baggage area
