Sorry, forgot to paste Matt's email. W&B isn't too bad
Empty weight is 1016 lb.
The 1016 includes no oil and no usable fuel, so the usable would be 1500 minus 11 lbs for oil, minus 135 for full fuel (22.5 gal usable), minus 1016 empty, leaving about 340 for passengers.
Rob, yes I meant the Tan/grey coloured piece. I'm assuming that this is a plastic piece. "Others more familiar with this model year can maybe add more info on this,, As well, maybe some thoughts around the repair. All in all,, it looks not bad. A bit of cosmetic stuff and she'd look A+. "By the way, anything 40+ will probably require some cosmetic stuff", "including my better half" "Ouch, don't know where that came from",,,The side photo looks not bad neither, actaully looks pretty good. Did you get pics with cowlings off, rear cabin shot, carpeting, I see the seat belt is a bit discoloured, as long as the "tags" are still on, I remember dying mine on my 172 one time,, turned out good too "Make sure tags are on and readable, or when you go to import you'll have to replace. The real nitty gritty stuff comes during the inspection. Are you looking further into this airplane? Excellent of David helping,,,,
Bart Deal is meeting the seller Friday or Saturday and taking some photos from a perspective that "isn't hiding anything"...not saying the seller is...but you know how it is!
I'm willing to spend more to get better...although I'm not sure that older or newer is the issue. Besides...I've taken a real liking to the fastback models (which is an absolute personal preference...encouraged by the friendly folks at the 150-152 club).
