Bart_Deal lives in Stillwater and did a pre-look for me. Took about 60 pictures and went over each one with me, in detail, over the phone one night. It really helped, too, as I was 700 miles away from the airplane. He even helped by hooking me up with his mechanic for the pre-buy inspection.

Thanks guys...it gives a good feeling when I look at the stature of the folks that are saying good things about it.

Full steam ahead!!!

When I get the pics next weekend, I'll post them for all to see and comment.

Great call Bengie, Bart's coming through spectacularly again...he's going to have a look at this one - when he finds out where it is! (it is not at his home base)

That would be a good situation. A Cross Country machine and a local cruiser. I wouldn't mind that.
Welcome to my life!

My Mooney is great when it's time to travel but I've found that the more pure joy is flying the 150.

Yeah, those placards look like the stuff I made in middle school.

Rod,, for me the red labels are very superficial and easily replaced with very little cost. In saying that, Rob, have you cut and pasted the pic onto your desk top? Expanded the view a bit,, what do you see? That could cost a bit more to replace,,,

Is that a plastic overlay? I hope so.

Ron,, you and that moose of yours,,,:) Ya it looks like an overlay, but I looked at the plane pastic place and they don't seem to have those,,could be difficult to find replacements for,, I know some folks have been very sucessful at repairing them though,, some guys start off with plastics that are in pieces and come up with a thing of beauty,, I envy those folks as it's beyond my expertise,
