Yes! That APOLLO system is a genuine antique and probably belongs in a museum for general aviation aircraft!

Ok, sorry or happy to pass along the aircraft JUST SOLD!

I asked Ben, the owner who is at Naval Flight Training, to pass along to the new owner that WE are here for him.

This plane will need a LOT of TLC in Indiana where it's going.

The owner will be able to sell it for a small fortune...the only trouble is that it may take a large fortune to do so.

Jim, the new owner has been informed of this club and highly encouraged to JOIN.

He is an older gent from Indiana....

I only hope he KNOWS what he is getting into.

All too often I have seen folks obtain airplane bargains only to learn they have obtained a project aircraft that may easily turn into an expensive ramp tramp.

Fortunately for us, there are not a huge array of options out there below $100K, so even if you invest what I think this plane needs, it will still be worth it.

The plane is being repaired to pass an annual - still out on the ramp. Running into issues.

Also, the owner is seeking a FERRY PILOT.

We have lots of volunteers, of course, but there are stringent FARs on doing that for hire. Not just anyone can do it, I have been told, but I know little of such arrangements as I am personally not interested in flying a plane that is having issues getting through a 4-5 month annual.

We may get someone to just do it for FREE for the flight time...if the plane ever passes an annual.

I am also an older student pilot from Indiana who bought a 150M to take lessons in last November. If the new owner wants to correspond with someone to trade experiences with I would be glad to know I,m not the only old guy buying airplanes. LOL. In any event I wish him the best and lot's of luck.
