A few nibbles but no cash in hand. I know that even though I am taking a bath the price is right up at the top end of what ANYONE is willing to pay for a 150. I frankly don?t expect to sell the SportHawk quickly, but then I am not what you would call a motivated seller.

I went out this morning to give her weekly workout and she was happy to fly. After flying the WartHog she is a delight to fly in the pattern. I can?t really say whether the airplane was anxious to go or the cool (almost cold) temperature caused her to climb to TPA by the time we turned downwind for some T&G practice. It?s a dirty job but someone has to do it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm having the same issues... except my 150 is at the lower end of the price scale. If this TAP ad doesn't pan out, I'll put it away until spring. I do enjoy the weekly warm-up flights, though. It's so sprightly compared to the 172....

May I suggest Barnstormers [barnstormers.com] online? It's free and available to everyone that is looking. And it only costs the seller what he, or she, feels is a fair cost. I personally have not looked at a Trade-a-Plane in years.

ASO is pretty ok, too, but I'm not sure about fees for sellers.

I am thinking about going into the consulting business.

I have had now fewer than five (5) inquires; not about buying the SprotHawk but wanting information on making the conversion. Who are the STC holders and what is their contact information? How much does and 0-320 cost? How fast does it go? How much fuel does it burn? What is the ?gross weight?, and on and on.

In each case I just tell them to join the club and browse the forum archives for more information than they can stand on the subject but for goodness sake don?t do a conversion. I?ll just be doggoned if I am going to sit down and write a treatise for every Tom, Dick and Harry that doesn?t want to buy my airplane <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Mayhap we may see some new names on the forum.
