I may just plug the holes with screws for now and do the stool method. To take this a step further, it's kinda sad (and frustrating) that there are probably hundreds of 150/152's that are tied down outside degrading daily as they're not being flown anymore and most of those have just what you need. Such a waste.

Looks like I'm going with the step ladder method for the time being as well. May just have to piece a set together over time. Hung - I noticed the exact same thing about Jim's steps as well!  I'm not sure I've ever seen a set of fuels steps that shiny! Jim - Are they for sale? They'd be the best looking part of my plane for a while.

They're shiny because I had them (gag, gagging and gagging some more) chrome plated and like I've always said......chrome is for pimps.  These are the original Cessna steps so, unfortunately, it's not an aftermarket option that would help you.
