Wanting to purchase an above average 150 or 152. Low airframe time and low or mid-time engine. Willing to pay a premium for upgraded panel. VFR senior not ready to quit flying yet. Can move quickly for the right airplane.

Welcome to the club, Don.

I know my 152 isn't workable for what you're looking for but maybe other members here can steer you into the right one that will.

Best of luck with your search.

Yes, Welcome to the club Don! Hope you find a good plane to enjoy! When you do, come on out to Iowa for some real fun this summer at our annual flyin. If anyone in our group can help you with your search, I’m sure they will!

Did you see the 150J w150hp on Barnstormers that is located in Silver City NM? That's an interesting 150.

Yep, that looks like a fun one! https://barnstormers.com/classified-1627224-Cessna-150150.html

There are lots of extra pics, if you click the "view larger images" link... including the best photo I've found of the battery relocation on a 150/150!

I got the drawings with my STC paperwork, but I've had a hard time visualizing what it should look like. This photo makes it pretty clear, and is in my file, now. smile

For just a few dollars more though, you could buy DJ's plane, which I think offers more bang for the buck:

Wow, I didn't know that DJ was selling his plane.

Wonder what's up with that.....anybody know?

I hope his health is okay but he hasn't been around in a long time.

He has massaged and created a very desirable plane.
