I am told it's about the same as a normal 150.

What does increased gross weight include? Is it an stc?

Best regards,
Patrick

Yes sir. Del Air sold the STC for the gross weight increase to 1760 as well as the STC for the 0320 engine swap. I think it is nothing but a simple gross weight increase. This plane has a useful load of 498 lbs.
I've agreed to buy it. We've agreed on a price. I plan to go out to see it and/or get it either late Sept or mid Oct. It has had it's annual and a new battery installed, as well as a new ELT battery.
I'll be its 8th owner.

One interesting thing about this plane that you can see evidence of in the third image of the original posting above. Sunlight shining onto the radio stack. I think it has the skylights, roof glass that the Aerobat used. I haven't asked Fred about that. When I see it I will find out.

In picture #6 (I think) I don't see the sun shining on the seats. It could be the way the sun is shining though.

Congratulations, I would’ve loved to buy this one, but covid interrupted my monthly US trips frown and organizing this from europe is difficult.

Best regards,
Patrick

This is great news and I sincerely hope your experience with the Del-Air 150/150 is every bit as good as what mine has been. whistle

Can't wait for your first PIREP!!

Can't wait to see this machine up close and personal, too......how exciting.

Congrats, Geoff......you've made my FLYDAY really special.

When I'm in normal cruise on my own I see about 7.5gph at 110 knots. Full power departure is about 13gph. But on departure I'm climbing at about 800fpm or so at full gross.

When I'm flying with Keystone Flight (a ragged group of Cessna 150s, 172s and those low wingers) we fly as fast as the slowest aircraft and I'll see about 6gph.

When I'm flying with Poobs I'm flying so slow that there is gas being put back INTO the tanks. (Just kidding, its about 4gph).

I concur, that's exactly what you're seeing. It's very evident just above the carb heat handle.

You can barely see them if you zoom in on this photo [airport-data.com] I found in Airport-Data.com.
