Brian, The previous owner was right here in Lincoln which made it very convenient. I was renting 172s from the local FBO when this came up for sale. It took me 2 days to decide and honestly have never, not once regretted it. It’s a great little airplane and has been well taken care of. I’m 70 years old now and just don’t fly as much as I used to. I have access to a friends 172 just about any time I want so it makes more sense to sell now. I can send additional pics if you like. Call any time if you would rather communicate on the phone 402-432-0774.

I bought my C150 in Arkansas and flew right through Memphis Bravo airspace back to SC no problem. Of course, that was before the new ADSB requirement. Don’t let long distance keep you from finding a good plane!

Memphis controllers are great. Most of the time, I fly without flight following since I am never sure what I am going to do until I get there, but I do use FF sometimes and the controllers in the TRACON are always great. I have flown through the Memphis Class B several times and been routed right over Memphis International. Pretty cool. I didn't like it much, though, when I was called out as traffic to another aircraft as "a very slow moving Cessna." smile

Gosh, time is flying by so quickly.

I'll forever treasure the times we've spent flying around the country in our flight of two.....38H and Sierra.....dang those were good days.

Congratulations, Doug. Did you wind up selling it locally? I hope you keep hanging around here.
