This is the information the seller has supplied so far...

1979 Cessna 152 II
TTAF: 6000 hrs
SMOH: 130 hrs (engine and prop overhauled in 2011)

New Starter "Sky-Tec High Speed Lightweight"

Fresh Annual
Always Hangared
No Damage
No Corrosion

Original Paint and Interior

Asking Price: $33,900

It does seem a bit high, but the condition appears remarkable. Good 152s seem to be in the 28k-32k range these days. Thoughts?

I'm surprised it's not already sold at that price, condition and low hours.
A 152 with 12K TT and an almost run out engine could command nearly that price.

I just talked to the owner, it's actually $35,000 firm. Said the listing was incorrect.

I think it is one of the best ones left...

Still, at $35,000 I think that is a good deal.
That looks like a well cared for 152.

Nice looking airplane, Zach. Do you know who did the overhaul? It can make a difference whether it was a "field overhaul," factory reman, or major shop overhaul.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

By the way, I don't think I have welcomed you, so welcome to the Club!

+1

I like that color! What a beauty! Would you be planning to put ADSB-out in the plane if you get it?

Probably because his phone rang off the hook and he realized he wasn't asking enough.

Thanks for the welcome!

The owner used the term "Factory Overhaul". We'll see exactly when I get a look at the books.

Wow, the paint is original? You don't see many that look like that. That plane won't last long on the market.
