It is amazing how inexpensive older Bo's are. You can buy a 1950's one for less than the price of your 150! It won't be in as great shape, but it will be retract, 150kt+, complex airplane. Newer Bo's are very nice too. They all fly like you're riding in a luxury sedan.

I considered one before I got my 182, but decided I preferred the high wing, roominess, and two doors over the complex features. Then, I'm not really going cross country much so the extra speed wasn't a big factor for me.

I may still get a Bo someday, especially if I decide to go for 6 seats sometime.

You have a very nice 150. The paint scheme reminds me of my 182.

Ive got my eye on A 1961 P model and I like the K-S models with the 250HP+ motors. No E series engines for me. I want the 160KT cruise. Ive been looking for about 4 months and reading up on them a bit longer. Ive got a line on 2 right now and maybe a 3rd one. We will see.

Im being PATIENT and waiting for the right one. I want a CLEAN airframe that doesnt need paint and a motor I can fly behind for at least 3-5 years. Interior and panel are easy fixes wink

Jim, one of my students (GoJet Street Captain) has a friend who is looking for a trainer. I gave him your information. My students name is Jeff Martin.

BTW, do I get a finders fee?
