Does anyone know if Robert Cressman sold the Duchess before he died?

If she's still around, that might be the ultimate answer in this search??

Wayne Rearick informed me that it had been sold just before Robert's passing.

Indy Air Services emailed me this morning regarding 96Kilo: "Complete logs, all ADs are complied with. Flown regularly until the last couple of years. The previous owner had declining health. No maintenance issues. The owner did pass away late last year and we purchased the aircraft from his family."

I think I'd like to look at the logs a little deeper. This could be a good one! What do you guys think? Depends on how long it sat the last couple of years?

I’m the proud new owner of a 75 150M with 2600tt and 800smoh which I spent a year looking for and have now had for 2 months. Both of the planes you are looking at photograph nicer than mine, but what’s really important is how “genuine” they are....
Ask to see log entries, reciepts for major work, look for long term owners and not something that is bought and sold every other year. Look for consistancy in the logs, has the same shop worked on it for years or is it a different guy each time?
I don’t know how easy it would be for you to look at each plane but contact a local club member or call up the local flying club and see what they know....people love talking about other peoples planes! I saved a fortune in travel money like that.
Spend the money and have a pre buy inspection done by a shop that has never seen the plane before, a “fresh annual” is not worth alot unless you paid for it and you know what was looked at....!

BTW, I like the more expensive one best but either one would be the right one if it’s as described.....
FYI, I paid $26K CAN for mine

Is anyone near Anderson, IN, that could take a look at 96Kilo for me? Expenses paid (reasonable expenses, ha ha) of course. wink I want to get moving on this airplane as soon as I can regarding getting a pre-buy done, but I would love it if a club member would be able to look it over for me.

I bought a 1976 150M in October 2017 for 26K from an A&P/AI with a fresh annual. It's one of the bicentennial models with the red, white, and blue paint. It was freshly repainted with 10 SMOH, ~7,000 TT. I have upgraded the Nav/Com and transponder. Still considering whether to go with ADS-B. I knew and trusted the seller completely so I didn't do an additional pre-buy inspection. Although mechanically its in outstanding condition there are a few cosmetic things that some independent "inspector"would have noticed.
