Re: Shoulder Belts

Spruce Aviation offers Hooker belts for about $160 each, installation is claimed to be 60-90 minutes per belt with the headliner removed.

Try the 'Fiskars' brand $6.00 sissors. They'll cut the kevlar,

I tried these but "no-worky" and what I resort to doing is to borrow a friends "Kevlar Cutting Mother Of All Sissors" from a builder/friend in Dallas. Each time I borrow these, it sets me back $6 for postage, but at least I don't have to put up my house up as collateral in order to get a loan to actually buy a pair of $800 sissors...
Hey, can you post a picture of your Kevlar boots?

Great idea Charles. Since many vendors with 150-152 mods are going to Oshkosh, why not have them stop in Clinton to show us some "stuff".

Another Reg on the site ... cool!

Reg H.

This is weird! This post has been dominated by guys having a name starting with an "R" and the name being three letters long. Isn't there some guy named Ron who can post something here to? Or maybe Ric?
(enter the sound effects of "The Twilight Zone" theme song.... Hey, and that guys name was "ROD" Serling... Spooky, real spooky!

I just sent these folks (Macfarlane) an e-mail asking about buying parts and I mentioned I found them through the 150/152 Club... So maybe they will indeed show up at Clinton next year...

I hope to buy a pair of Kevlar boots from them, but couldn't find them on their website.

Roy,

I believe these are from McFarlane, just being peddled by Texas Aeroplastics. (Just don't ask Ed for a recommendation)

They're at Roanoke, TX, the airport is called Northwest Regional, just north east of Ft. Worth. Despite there errors, they're nice folks.
