Why not just send it out to one of the instrument overhaul shops?

Ken
I may still have an old 5# DG around if you are interested, OH yours is probably the best option.

I have one from my "E" model you can have. I also have a vacuum pump and attitude indicator I no longer have use for.

Send me a PM with your address and I'll ship it to you. I have no use for it, so if you can use it, I'll send it for shipping costs. Mine had to be reset fairly often but it might work better for you than the one you have. (And you can't beat the price). smile

I went out to my hangar and got the DG that I had removed over a year ago. I had forgotten (I turned 71 this year and can't remember what I had for lunch on any given day) that this DG actually came out of an old Mooney. It fits a three inch hole and the mounting holes are about 4 1/8 inches apart. If you still want it, I'll send it. Otherwise it might get tossed.
