If you're interested, I've attached the parts diagrams for the seats in 150s. This covers C150, A150, F150 and FA150.
Unfortunately, it isn't accessible by year, but by airframe serial number.

The plot thickens!

The distance between the seat runners in my aeroplane - a 1972 FRA150L, serial 0136 - is 12";
That on a 1974 FRA150L serial number 0244 is 11";
That on the seats I bought (putatively a 1974 F150L) is 11".

Given the difficulty in finding a replacement seat, with my engineer's agreement and advice, I have had the broken "recline" mechanism on my aeroplane's Starboard set welded by a CAA (UK equivalent of FAA) approved welder, and a rather neat job he's done. The recline mechanism never worked so there's no loss of function.

Anyway, original "broken" seat has been repaired and is stronger than it's ever been.

I am looking for a pair of seats for G-AWAW. It is F150-0037

It is the the first year built in Reims France a 1966 F150F.

It sounds like your "surplus" seats will not fit G-AWAW, but if anyone has 1 or 2 Cessna 150F seats, I am interested.

Story is the museum threw the G-AWAW seat in the "tip"? The seats did not make the jump to the new world.

I don't know if what I have would fit, but whatever you decide to go for, measure the distance between the seat runners... :-)
It's unlikely my "surplus" seats would fit your aeroplane, and the cost of shipping from the UK would be prohibitive.
I'm hoping to pass them to another FRA150L that does have the right runner separation: G-BCFR, the aeroplane in which I had a share.
We learn from our mistakes :-)

Arthur, I am glad you found a home for your seats. I have found at least one in Colorado, and will take a look at another here in Texas in early Dec. Parts are pretty plentiful, and I am not in hurry.
