Make sure the buyer is told about us and the Confab. We would love to see his new airplane in Iowa next July.

I will tell him for sure. I am just disappointed it didn't get sold to someone from this forum. It is a really nice airplane and he stole it. Oh well...

The deal fell through. It’s back on the market. No reasonable offer refused.

Well that's a bummer... I'm sure someone will come along eventually... Perhaps just not a great time to sell an airplane in your part of the world I'm guessing. Spring may bring fresh buyers.

Any idea why the sale fell through? I have a coworker that is two lessons into his PPL that may be interested.

I hope you had a deposit in your pocket as you watched him walk away.

Tough break.

The buyer didn’t divulge he had a partner in the deal when he made the offer. Once it was accepted he was supposed to deliver a deposit check. He was honest and let my friend know his partner couldn’t deliver his share. No worries. It’s a very nice plane and he got to the seller at a soft moment. They missed out on a very special deal.

It is difficult to sell anything but down coats around here this time of year. The airport is a ghost town except for guys with hangars huddling around propane heaters inside and sipping hot coffee. (That would be me). It’s a good time to take care of small maintenance items. I did take 52Q out for .7 hours on Friday though. Severe clear and 38 degrees F. Density altitude was -1500 feet I think and slight wind down the runway. With two of us on board and 12 gallons of fuel she was climbing at 900 FPM! I wouldn’t swear it but I spied the needle hit 1000. Yippee! It felt soooo goood to be aloft and away from this crazy world for a little while. Dang...
