The starter I pulled out was on it's last legs. The mechanic found damage that makes it's life problematic at best. In addition the cable had to be cut in three places to remove. I should have waited until it was removed before offering it.

We have a pull-starter at Clinton used for MX demos. I think it's my old starter from when I upgraded to a Sky-Tec. If it still works then use it and give us your old one.


Done! My old starter (gear) has a new plane to start, and Barney's old starter is now a maintenance demo.
