After my last flight with my wife she complained about the headset. It seems that the headset is what's keeping her from taking longer flights. I had her try on my DC's and she loved them. SOOO.... I was wondering if anyone had a used DC headset that they could sell? Please let me know. Thanks.

Jason,

Lurk on the VAF Forum classified section. You'll find a very good deal eventually. That's what I did.

So is it H10-13.4 you're looking for?

Or, if you can wait a little bit, David Clark donates one or two headsets to the fly-in in Clinton. You might get lucky and win one!

I brought a used set that was in rough shape and sent them back to Dave Clark to be refurbished. They did a great job. Cannot remember what I paid but it was very reasonable. I use them when my wife uses my Bose. Yep that's the way it works at my house.

Good wife, good friends & a Cessna 150. Life is good.

About 2 years ago, someone on Ebay was selling a bunch of brand-new David Clark headsets for $50 each. They were for helicopters, so I suspect they were Army equipment that somehow got into the black market. I bought one then bought a helicopter-to-airplane adapter for about $25. Works great.

Maybe you should have bought a helicopter to match the headset instead of buying the adapter. grin

The H10-13.4 seems to most closely resemble mine. I honestly don't know what model mine is, but my wife loves how comfortable they are. So, to answer your question, a H10-13.4 would be perfect.
