I was thinking of you yesterday when I was in the hanger. We will have to see if I want it to help sell the plane or not. Stay tuned. smile

When you sell it as an A&P special, the pants don't do anything for the value smile

I will be back at the hanger next Tuesday and grab them, clean them up as best I can and take pics and post them here for you to see.

Do you already have mounting brackets on the mains? I don't have a mounting bracket on the nose, nor was the nose pant drilled for the mounts. It was 1989 work done by previous owner who never got to getting the nose-wheel pant repaired completely. Pictures will tell the story.

Did I just see someone thinking about giving away an airplane project?! Heck, I am always in the market for ANOTHER project.... grin wink

OK, your crankshaft for my wheel pants. As I require an uncorroded crankshaft, but I don't require the pants. laugh laugh

About nine years ago I spent at least 3x, maybe 4x, to fix up my plane beyond it's actual value. I kept the plane and have flown the pants off of it (not wheel pants) and I now consider that I got my money's worth. If I ever decide to sell, I know I will never get out what I put into it. Not even close.
Yesterday I filled out the annual Santa Clara County tax assessor value statement thing-a-ma-jig paper. At least the county can't put a high property value on the plane to tax me.
