I would have called (LV isn't far from me), but the word around here is that if I put anything else in my hangar, it will explode.

I was hoping a Club member would take it!
The owner seemed like a very nice gentleman when I spoke with him.

You're getting a local competitor, Kendel grin.

By a 150 even I could afford! grin

Good luck Tim! grin

Tim decided it was more project than he wanted, so I will be driving to Vegas this weekend to pick it up. My MEL examiner needs it for a 150 that got bent up in Montana. I'm making the trip with my IA, who is a mutual friend, and we will be RON at yet another friend of his at NLV. Should be a fun road trip.

Some times I think the only reason I do aviation is to share beers with other nutcases.

Well, I hauled it home today. No engine, engine cowl, seats, instruments, radios, interior panels, windows, flap motor, exterior plastic tips.... Mods were started on the fuselage but not finished. Also, no paperwork of any kind. This was a parts plane in somebody's back yard until Jess got it to put a Chevy V6 conversion on it. I got to see his conversions on an RV6 and a Swift. They look well engineered but he ran out of time to do this 150 project with his grandson and wanted the hangar cleared out.

I have a LOT of extra 150 parts; including engine, prop, seats, windows, etc. However, not having ownership documents makes me think this project will never happen for anybody.

Kendel,

The door window frames.....both sides?

Actually, I don't even need the frames themselves.....I'd like to get the square sleeve inside each frame that holds both ends of the frame together.......Bengie knows what I do with them. grin

I don't want to tear up perfectly good doors just for that little part. I stripped out a mangled door earlier this year and think I have a window frame from it sitting around, but will have to check. Bengie has first dibs.

Otherwise, I will let you know when I run across more mangled doors... which I do.
