Ok, thanks.
I painted my 150 about 16 years ago.
I didn't use alumiprep or Alodine.
After stripping and cleaning I used etching primer then painted.
Still looks like new, no corrosion.

I plan to strip and paint her again soon.
She has been all white for 16 years, rather boring.
She needs some color, a little flair.
I have been looking at a lot of photos of the many planes
on this site for inspiration.

You're missing' it!

It's a magnificent paint scheme.

But, it's yellow.

I like yellow.
Since Jim's post, I have been looking for a shot of it but cannot find it.
It is the record holding taildragger is it not?
Post a photo.

Yes, quite inspirational.
Too bad about the fire.

I would like to see it in action.
