Getting close! Engine is mounted, new engine mount, all new Plexiglas installed, prop overhauled, and annual nearly complete. Just a few more days (and AMUs) now! Here are some pictures as requested:

Notice the cruddy data plate on the top of the "overhauled" engine -- that's the only thing distinguishing it from a completely new engine.

Here is the O-200 (by STC, from a C85-12F) that went into our Chief a couple years back. The overhaul was by Central Cylinder in Omaha (new 0-200 crankshaft, new ECI cylinder assemblies):

Nice, Roy! Exciting that you're getting closer to flying.

I made a similar decision by going with LyCon. Spent more doing it but I feel more confident putting students, family, friends and me in the plane. I hope to own Wilbur for many years to come so I'm functioning with the same mind set.

Did you buy the all-new-parts "kit" engine from Teledyne-Continental?
