BuyPlaneParts sells the interior doors in pairs for $165 with the armrest in place.
Other prices I have seen are $95 each with no armrest.

Has anyone had good luck replacing interior door panels?

Not sure what you mean by good luck. I've made minor repairs and repainted mine. They were replaced by a previous owner and are the one from Texas aeroplastics (buyplaneparts.com) They seem to fit well and have lasted at least 9 years.

That'd be good luck.

Mine are brittle and have long cracks (possibly repairable by a pro, but not likely). I thought of repainting, but the physical condition is so bad.

I replaced both of mine with the Texas Aeroplastic ones. No issues. Use the old ones to lay out your mounting holes arround the edge. I think I had to trim something along the edge with the dremel but slept since then. I just taped off the built in arm rests which are black and painted the rest with plastic paint.

I have replaced mine last year with the Plane Plastics set. No problems but I didn't paint them first and left them the color they came with. I though maybe they might stain or get dirtier easier then if I had. So far they arn't. Do buy the ones with the arm rests though, as they sure make a difference flying long distances. I have made up a foam cushion that I set under my arm to steady my hand up to the yoke so I only move my fingers to take some of the work out it in turbulence. Sort of a poor man's auto pilot.

I purchased the plane plastics door panels for my 150H and installation consisted of a little trimming around the door handle and edges. Used a dremel tool. I did find that the door strap pull handles would not fit with the new panels. The new panels have a longer humnp where the ashtrays are and block one of the holes needed for the pull handles. You can fix this by moving the two holes aft about 1/2".
The arm rests are hard! I use a piece of velcro on the arm rests and a piece of old sheepskin also with velcro to ease the elbows on longer flights.

They are really not that hard to install. You may want to take the door handle mechanism apart while there and replace the springs while you are on this project. If you want get them, and we can do it on some Saturday when you have the time. Just make sure they are the ones for your year/model. If you do a past search of my post, you can find where we bought mine. I think it was from Texas Aero.

Take care, Herb

I've been thinking about replacing my old, creaking door panels as well. Looking them over, I noticed that several of the little plastic capped clips are missing. Anyone know where you get a few of these?

I got extra clips at a Auto Paint supply house. Just about any type of clip to install upholstery, door pads, Christmas trees etc were available. They were chrome headed. Although not a genuine Cessna part they filled the bill. Am I grounded?

Grounded? Only if those clips cause you to make a smokin' hole I won't tell if you don't. Thanks for the tip.
