Based on the price of a new C-172, it is difficult to understand how a C-150 could be worth only $15,900.
Hang in there. There will be someone of wisdom and understanding come along and your airplane will be just what they are looking for. | | | | Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 2,364 Likes: 153 Member/1500+posts | Member/1500+posts Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 2,364 Likes: 153 | Man, I wish it was easier, and cheaper to import an aircraft from the US to Canada....

This might make it easier to deal with Canadian law. | | | | Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 2,364 Likes: 153 Member/1500+posts | Member/1500+posts Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 2,364 Likes: 153 | Haha! Well I appreciate the thinking outside the box! But it is more about money than law. There are apparently painful and expensive hoops to jump through for import. But right now the real deal killer is the exchange rate. I have to add better than 30% to the buying price just to account for the dollar exchange. Just a killer.

Maybe it's not moving because of where you are. Seems like out west that thing would be bought up in a heartbeat. Great candidate for one of my hot rod TD 150,150's. Manual flaps and big tanks are a must and getting harder to find.
Surely someone will want that thing at that price.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a buyer(s) for it... maybe even a bidding war. $16,900 is a really good price. ![[Linked Image from animatedimages.org]](https://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/218/animated-penguin-image-0137.gif) [ animatedimages.org] Imagine a united world. I'd guesstimate you're looking at somewhere between $24,000 - $27,000 CAD by the time you're done. Not unreasonable.
