Is it for sale or not? If it is, then what is the price?

Barney,

We are offering this airplane here first hoping that it will go to somebody that will truly appreciate it. As folks that really know me here will attest, I am not totally about the money and this airplane will go to that somebody at a very fair price depending on their individual circumstances. If I wind up going public, then there will be a set price. Otherwise, if you are genuinely interested in purchasing our airplane feel free to PM me and we can discuss it. But, be forewarned, if the first question is still "how much is it?" or you come with the same demanding attitude you have shown here, it is not for sale.

I just looked in my wallet.
I have $46 cash.
I wouldn't take your plane for that amount and play your stupid game.
" Depends on the buyer"
What the hell does that mean??
If you really want to sell your plane state a price and if a buyer is interested then you can negotiate with them. why does a buyer have to pass some sort of screening approval from you?
This is the most absurd "for sale" offer I've seen.
Besides, don't the forum rules require you to state a price?
This is so off the wall and not amusing whatsoever .

It's your plane Bill - sell it to whoever you want to. I think people are just saying you really should just list an asking price. If you want to give certain individuals a break, offer your "discount" to the worthy recipient once he's at your hangar. Takes the "game" appearance out of it.

If you want an auction, eBay it. If you want to hand-pick the buyer, don't post it on a forum.

my nickle's worth... no pennies in Canada anymore.

+2.
I'm getting a "bad vibe" from this one. I won't be posting this to buddies at my local airport

Okay, I get it guys. But really cut Bill some slack to many of us our airplanes are much more than just an aircraft; they are something we have an emotional connection to and when the time comes to part it's not about the money.
Bill I totally understand; Happy Flying...
