Good point. I haven't torn down my panel, though, just trying to minimize my downtime for when I do. I have some pretty good measurements, I suppose I may just have to make all the cable holes smaller and fit them to size by hand.

If you do I hope you take us along for the ride.......we're a project oriented clan and most of us love to follow what other members do when they work on or upgrade their plane.

And, of course........pictures. smirk

My '76M is undergoing a major panel overhaul with new avionics, instruments, switches and circuit breakers with a little rearranging of all the above. What are my options for labeling/engraving my new aluminum lower panel for the switches & breakers?

Oh my.....neat project, Harvey.

Why not start a new thread under projects and restorations, tell us what you have in mind and let us tag along as this unfolds?

These are always fun to follow. whistle

Hi Jim. I might just do that.

I started the project back in 2008 but had to sideline it due to greater demands of my day job. Now that I'm retired, along with persistent pestering by Poobs and Matt Luce, I guess it's time to restart my 150 project.

I'll start a thread in the PROJECTS & RESTORATIONS forum.

Bill's panels are AWESOME! And everything he said about the lower panel.

The dudes painting the plane also do custom avionics work. They were impressed with Woodstock's panels. They are robust, functional and look good.
