From what I understand the gear was moved back to keep the plane from sitting on its tail when loading stuff into the back. The gear legs were the only modification - where it attaches to the airplane remained the same.

I passed it up because the TSO on the engine was over 1400 hours, but it's in otherwise fine shape. I know its still being flown regularly and I believe he still wants to sell. Its a very nice 1965 E model and has the heavy-duty nose gear you want. I posted photos on a previous thread: http://www.cessna150152.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=34405&Number=411691#Post411691It's located at K50 in Kansas. If interested let me know and I'll give you the owner's name and number. | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,280 Likes: 202 Member/1000+posts | Member/1000+posts Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,280 Likes: 202 | I have a friend that just disided to sell his 1964 C-150. It is a straight tail, omni-vision, and manual Johnson bar flaps. GPS and a bunch of other nice stuff. I will be taking photos and helping him to sell it soon. Very nice airplane. If interested PM me
