Without looking it up (so I'm probably wrong) I was sure the senders were the same for both tanks. You're measuring fuel level (which wouldn't be any different) rather than pounds or gallons. Right?

Carl,

I was thinking the same thing! We are only measuring Full and Empty, and everything in between.

But,

FIG. 12 (Standard Range Tank) Item -17.....Transmitter....0426517-1

FIG. 13 (Long Range Tank) item -14 .....Transmitter........0426517-2

So, according to the Parts Manual there is at least a slight difference.

I would call MacFarlane anyways and ask.

By the looks of these responses, maybe we need a parts swap section for our site.

Speaking of parts and swaps... why don't we have a thread related to the site store products?

I'm about to post a question regarding the Overhead Lighting System offered but a search of the site archives turns up zilch.

We need reviews.

I have one of those Overhead Lighting things - I'm happy with it. I put a set of rechargeable batteries in it once every 6 months. Works good. It's fastened to the top headliner using a velcro fastener. Not the greatest, but it works.
