As some folks know, we tried the stc route and that proved easy if you have unlimited time and unlimited money of which we have neither. So bugging the inspectors for 337 approval is our only route. Often a lesson in patience but so far, as far as I know, anyone that has tried has eventually succeeded.

You over-looked another feature specific to Patrollers. A 6-quart oil pan for endurance flying.
