Good eye, but something more serious is missing in 2463 that no one has found (not the cowl).

You mean, besides the voltage regulator? Shame on you for not taking this opportunity to install an F&M Oil Filter adapter! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> That's one of the REAL joys of ownership - adding modifications!

Oh my Lord, I see planes like that, and it makes me feel totally negligent. My poor 24U needs the firewall polished (light rust spots in small areas), the undersides of the wings polished to remove corrosion from the metal, and just a good bath. It wouldn't hurt to fly her more than a few hours a month too.

That's a nice plane...lucky... Have FUN!

It's such a shame to look for discrepancies on such a beautiful aircraft!

But, since we're looking:

Vertical fin beacon glare shield missing.

Edge reinforcement strips on wingtips (mounts under attaching screws) missing.

Wing strut steps reversed side to side.

Pad missing from right side yoke.

Oil pressure switch missing (no Hobbs?)

Safety wire between pressure relief valve cap and strainer housing applying slightly negative pull to relief valve cap.

No oil filter (optional).

Rudder stop kit missing (I think) (optional).

Fuselage low point drain may be missing (optional)

What did I miss? Is it any more trivial than the above?

rick,
Any lots for sale out there?
Hey Tracey,

There are a few 1 acre lots (that's the standard) with "For Sale" signs and I believe they can be had for approximately 200k. The airport was just sold to investors and they're talking about buying additional property to expand the airport, runway, and hangars. There has also been talk of new hangars for sale, and smaller houses built over a hangar.

That's a really, really, really nice looking airplane Paul.

Change out the automotive solenoid first! Uh-Oh

Seriously though, it looks really nice and I promise not to pick it like Carl did!!! Oh, and you'll need to tell Lori to remove it from the classifieds, if she hasn't already.

Shoot, the prettiest one in the world lives right there on your home field ....N63363, and can be had T O D A Y for 36k!!!!

BTW, how's it fly?

Is it any more [color:"red"] trivial than the above?

Nothing I'd worry about in the pics.
I did say beautiful!
If that's all I could find, I'd buy it!

Fact is, I'm suffering from flight withdrawal and I'm more than a little [color:"green"] envious!

So, Paul, what is it you said we missed?

Paul,
It appears to me...hmmmmmm, let's see, in picture #2463, hmmmmm........Ok, Ok, Ok... along with the automotive solenoid installed, the firewall is also missing the voltage regulator

How's it fly without that???

Here's the picture again (see attached)
